Does he know I know he knows I lie

When I’m staring straight at him,

And he says the line,

Those three damn words,

And I say them back,

Without a pause?

I know he knows I know he lies;

When he’s questioning me with his eyes

And he sees the truth

But just can’t face it

So he turns away

And says, “I know.”
